The New New Face of Plastic Surgery

Over the years, the phrase plastic surgery somehow automatically triggers a visual representation of something scary in our minds: super tight skin pulled backwards, weird plump lips, overly high brows, and wide eyes which look like a cat’s who had a heart attack.

A lot of celebrities and non-celebrities alike fell victim to awful plastic surgery procedures, and they had to endure it for years, or else immediately follow it up with another procedure that could potentially make it even worse.

But, there is a new trend today in plastic surgery which is making celebrities like Madonna first and foremost, look gorgeous beyond plastic surgery miracles. The New New Face is a technology—or technique—in plastic surgery which gives celebrities the kind of face plastic surgery is supposed to give them long, long time ago—a baby’s.

With the New New Face, it addresses an issue which is completely lost in traditional plastic surgery: volume. When people age, the skin starts losing its moisture and fats in the face which gives it the plump, youthful appearance. When people undergo plastic surgery, all that the surgeon does is tighten the skin to eliminate the sagging, but the loss of volume is not dealt with.

The New New Face deals with exactly that, and more. It’s all about the cheeks and the jawbone, that’s why celebrities like Madonna, Michelle Pfeiffer, Angelina Jolie, Demi Moore, and Elizabeth Hurley have the same plump cheeks and angular jaw lines which make them look gorgeous than ever.

Today, it seems that celebrities and surgeons alike are being enlightened about what makes a face beautiful—and natural. It seems that a lot of celebrities are following in pursuit of the New New Face, but it’s actually better that way. It’s less painful to see celebrities with their beautiful plump cheeks than with pulled up faces which always give out the expression of shock.
